Travik - Products For A brighter Tomorrow

At Ritchey, we have made full use of their services to package a variety of our liquid and paste preparations.

During 2007, with some excellent help from the technical staff at Travik, Ritchey have successfully designed, trialled and brought to the market a new hoof care product. This is essentially for use with dairy cows, but it is showing good results in other farm animal species as well.

Thanks to the modern facilities within the Travik factory we have been able to maximise the efficiency of packaging the end product, both in 25L bulk containers and also 500ml ready-to-use trigger sprays. This working relationship has proved invaluable to us, being able to supply a market that has seen a much better uptake than expected and so test even the most optimistic lead times.

So on behalf of Ritchey, as their product manager, I am very happy to endorse the commitment that Travik have given not only with helping in the development of new products, but also in being able to quote very competitively for other parts of our business.

Dennis McBride, who distributes the Travik range from his base in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, believes that Travik is the tops when it comes to automotive cleaning products. Dennis, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the motor trade, finds it difficult to pick a personal favourite from the wide variety of Travik products. However he finally settles on Durasol.

“Durasol is a long life tyre dressing product, and although the Travik version has been around for some time, no-one has ever come up with a rival that can beat it,” says Dennis.

The Travik range is extensive, and covers just about everything the industry could wish for, he adds. It includes polishes, dewaxers and degreasers, shampoos, waxes, glass, leather and carpet cleaners. There are also air fresheners, pressure wash detergents and alloy treatments. Product sizes range from aerosols through to 1000 litre IBC.
